4.1. Beachcabins processes the following data about you:
Identification data:
- First name, last name
- User ID
- Email address
- Phone number
Electronic data:
- Device data, log file data such as IP address, browser, and operating system
- Pages visited (and date and time of connection moments)
- Cookies
Financial data:
- Bank account number (processed by Stripe)
- Credit card number (processed by Stripe)
Images:
- Beachcabins receives images directly from you when you upload photos when publishing an ad for your beach cabin.
4.2. Beachcabins may receive your data directly from you, as you provide it via the contact form on the website.
Beachcabins may receive and process your personal data in the context of the agreement with you when you create a user account to rent or lease a beach cabin, when you contact Beachcabins for information (by phone, in writing, or via the website) or via cookies on our website.
Beachcabins may also receive your data from Google Analytics
Beachcabins uses Google Analytics to understand the use of our website and application. We collect statistical data about your visit, such as pages viewed, traffic sources, click behavior, and technical characteristics of your device and browser. This information helps us improve our services and make the experience as pleasant and personal as possible.
The data collected by Google Analytics is anonymized (IP addresses are masked) and is not shared with other Google services or used for advertising purposes.
5. Why and on What Basis Do We Process your Data?
We process your identification data (first name, last name, user ID, email, and phone number) because it is necessary to provide you with our services, particularly to facilitate the rental and leasing of beach cabins.
We process your financial data (bank account number and/or credit card number) via our payment partner Stripe because it is necessary for the execution of your rental or leasing agreement.
Beachcabins has a commercial and customer-oriented interest in effectively responding to questions and requests. Your privacy rights are minimally affected because Beachcabins exclusively processes data strictly necessary to answer your questions and provide adequate support. Processing is limited to identification and communication data.
Beachcabins processes electronic data via Google Analytics (device data, log file data such as IP address (masked), browser and operating system data, pages visited with date and time) to understand the use of the website and application, and thereby improve services.
For non-essential cookies (such as analytical and marketing cookies), Beachcabins requests your prior consent. You can give this consent freely and withdraw it at any time via your browser settings or via our cookie banner. For strictly necessary (functional) cookies, Beachcabins’ legitimate interest applies to ensure the proper functioning of the website.
Beachcabins processes photos uploaded by renters because it is necessary for the execution of the contract (visibility of the cabin for rent).

When we have reasons to doubt your identity, we may ask you for additional information necessary to confirm your identity. Generally, we will ask for a copy of your ID card to verify who is actually submitting a request. It is best to ensure that all information or data not necessary for verifying and confirming your identity is blacked out or otherwise removed or made illegible.
